Design a 30-minute customer interview guide for {{product}}, interviewing {{participant_type}}. Research goal: {{goal}}.
Structure:
1. Warm-up (3 min) — one open question that gets them talking about their context.
2. Past behavior (12 min) — 'Tell me about the last time you...' style questions only. No hypotheticals, no 'would you'. Aim for 4 such questions with specific recall triggers.
3. Demo + reaction (10 min) — 3 specific moments to watch their face/voice for.
4. Wrap (5 min) — one calibration question (would they recommend a friend), and the 'is there anything I should have asked but didn't?' close.
Output: numbered questions only. No moderator commentary in the script — that lives in a separate doc.The 'no hypotheticals' rule is the single most valuable constraint — hypothetical answers reveal what people imagine they'd do, not what they actually do.
